Doctors & Staff

Dr. Paul Davis

Dr. Davis was raised in Attalla, Alabama, a small town in north central Alabama next to Gadsden. His stepfather is Dr. Jack Earl Reagan, one of the founding members of Gadsden Orthopedics. Dr. Davis completed medical school at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, AL in 1990. He then went on to complete his internship year at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR where he also completed his four-year orthopedic residency. After completion, Dr. Davis practiced general orthopedics in Mobile, AL with The Orthopedic Group for 1.5 years then went on to complete a Sports Medicine surgical fellowship at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. He then practiced in Jackson, TN for 2 years until an opening in Florence, AL brought him back to his home state.

 

While in medical school he met his wife, Dr. Christine Davis. They have been married for 25+ years and have 6 children together. Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with his family, lifting weights, playing tennis and skiing. He very much believes in the importance of medical education and surgical based conferences to help him become a better surgeon every year.

Brooke Box, CRNP

Brooke Box, CRNP is a Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with Registered Nurse First Assistant.


Brooke Box, MSN, PNFA, NP-C, was raised in Tuscumbia, AL where she graduated from Deshler High School. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of North Alabama in 2004. She began working with Dr. Davis as his Registered Nurse in 2012 and continued while pursuing her Masters. Before joining Dr. Davis, she worked at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in the Cardio Thoracic recovery Unity for 10 years and at Helen Keller Hospital in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Radiology. While pursing her masters, she obtained her Registered Nurse First Assist in 2014 from the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB), allowing her to assist Dr. Davis in surgical procedures. Brooke Graduated from UAB with a Master's of Science in Nursing in 2015. She is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).


Brooke married in husband, Jason, in 2011. They have a total of four children. She enjoys spending time with her family, weight lifting, reading and vacationing. Brook Box sees patients 14 and up.
